In Q2 2022, the top 5 air travel apps in Latin America, including LATAM Airlines, Volaris, Azul, Viva Aerobus: Fly!, and Aeromexico, showed varied performance in terms of downloads and active users. Data from Sensor Tower reveals intriguing trends for these apps.

LATAM Airlines saw a relatively steady increase in weekly downloads, peaking at approximately 97.9K in the week of May 30. Active users also exhibited a consistent upward trend, reaching around 393.3K by the end of June.

Volaris experienced a notable rise in weekly downloads, with numbers climbing from around 35.9K in early April to approximately 53.9K by the end of June. Active users followed a similar positive trajectory, increasing from about 91.7K to nearly 118K over the quarter.

Azul maintained a stable download rate throughout the quarter, with a peak of approximately 44.6K in the week of May 9. Weekly active users showed a gradual increase, reaching around 178K by mid-May and maintaining this level until the end of the quarter.
